I'm Lolita Haze and I will be your Professor in Pinup Prettiness! I will teach you how wonderful it is not only to be a pinup, but how to feel more confident and have a positive body image! Helen Rubinstein once said, "There are no ugly women, just lazy ones." That may have been true in her day, but today I feel it should read, "There are no ugly women, just busy ones." There is so much in a woman's life that can take up all her time! School, work, being a mother, all this often finds a woman neglecting her own self. So here is a chance to give yourself a little bit of you time along with having a fun time and meeting other fabulous ladies all ready to share with you, your pinup transformation!
Course Descriptions:
Vintage Hair
As one of the modern masters of Vintage hair, I will show you how to achieve those famous vintage and retro styles using both traditional methods as well as modern methods. You will have the necessary basics know-hows to add a bit of vintage glamour to your daily style or just for a special occasion.
Pinup Makeup:
I will guide you through the classic pinup makeup look seen on many modern celebrities that are embracing their inner bombshell like Dita Von Teese, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, and Gwen Stefani. I will talk about the differences between daily, photo shoot, special occastion or show, true vintage and modern pinup vintage makeup applications
Perfect Posing:
I will show you the basics every pinup girl should know about posing. Whether you plan on becoming a professional pinup model or just want to add a bit of retro style to your look, the posing course will help you learn body confidence and the best way to hold yourself that best flatters your figure!
The Photoshoot:
After the lessons are over, you will become the center of attention in your very own pinup shoot! All this and you will receive a disk of all your images** and your choice of 5 images to have completely edited and retouched***.
Each girl will receive her own Pinup Starter Kit to keep!
What will you need to bring?
~Bring an outfit that you think is sexy!! Don't worry about wearing it in front of others. Pinup classes like these are a very positive environment where everyone is supportive and encouraging!
~ Bring an additional outfit or two, just in case. Classic pinup looks include sundresses, pencil skirts and blouses (think libriarian), swimwear, lingerie, glamourous slinky gowns, stockings and heels. I recommend your heels be at least 2 inches, but 3-5 inches are the best.
~Foundation in a matte finish that matches your skin best, powder, and a tube of black mascara. I will provide you with the rest of the basic pinup makeup must haves.
~A hairbrush with bristley bristles and a rat tail comb.
~A lite snack and drink. Depending on the location of the class, there may be some eateries near by that we can walk to during the break.
~A smile and readiness to learn just how gorgeous you really are!!!
I hope you are as excited to join the fun as I am to have you! So if you are ready to register, you can do so here. Space is limited and fill up fast so make sure you sign up right away! A non-refundable $50 deposit through PayPal is required to hold your place. You don't need a PayPal account and all major cards are accepted. You can pay in full right away or pay the remainder at the start of class in cash only. If you pay in full now and have to cancel, a refund (minus the non-refundable $50 deposit) will be issued if cancelled in no less than 7 days prior to class. If you cancel within the 7 days prior you forfeit all payment.
Class last approximately 6 hours give or take an hour and will take place in a secure location where no prying eyes can peek in!
*You must be at least 18 years old to register.
**All images on disk will be in low-res, number of images vary, but all are included so you can see what poses look best and which ones you need to keep practicing. Disk will be delivered at a later date through mail or available for pickup.
*** After reviewing all images on disk, you will select your 5 to be edited by emailing the number selections. Final edited images will be emailed back in hi-res 8x10 inches size (perfect for printing) along with 1024 px size (perfect for posting on web)
